Attendance

Aiming for 100% Attendance!

Attendance from September 2020

We are asking schools to work with families to secure regular school attendance from the start of term as this will be essential to help pupils catch up on missed education, make progress and promote their well-being and wider development. – (taken from: Guidance for full opening schools: published on 02/07/2020)

As a St Chad's Academy within the Telford and Wrekin Authority, we follow the guidelines and rules as set out by them. With reference to leave within term time we advise that any leave should not be booked until the Principal has agreed to give their permission for the absence.

As an Academy, we have a target of 96.1% attendance, however we strive to achieve as close 100% as we can.

Each pupil will be issued with an attendance ladder at the start of the academic year, with an individual half termly target.
