About Dawley C of E Academy

We are a 'GOOD' school - June 2023

Thank you for visiting our website. Dawley C of E Primary Academy is steeped in history. It was originally built as a National School in 1841, extended in 1892 and then again in 1985. It still retains its beautiful building character and is still used for learning classrooms today. On 1st May 2016 Dawley C of E Primary School converted to an Academy as part of the St Chad's Academies Trust and the Diocese of Lichfield.
Our vision is to develop flourishing, caring children, equipping them with the skills and values to live life to the full.  Aspiration is for our whole school community to be people of hope and peace, who love and trust themselves, others and God.
We all strive towards the same goal, seeking to meet the needs and best interests of the individual children in our care. We create a happy, secure environment, where children can learn with enjoyment.  We know that by good example, our children will grow up to be respectful, courteous and caring.

We believe that for children to realise their full potential there must be a partnership between home and Academy. We hope that this website will reinforce this link and provide useful information for all those interested in our Academy.

Should you require any further information about the Academy, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to help in any way we can.
